Satay Celup is similar with
steamboat or “lok-lok”. But Satay Celup dunks the food into a pot of
boiling satay sauce instead of soup or water. Assortment of raw and
semi-cooked seafood, meat and vegetables are on skewers. What you
need to do is to dip your various "satay" sticks into the piping hot
sauce (cook it as long as you want), and serve them to your
preferences. Normally you can have assortment of fish balls, squids,
prawns, pork, chicken, beef, mutton, fish, kang kung, foo-chok,
eggs, pig's ear, head skin, stomach, intestine, cockles and many
more!
