Eggs (蛋) is the most
common food that mankind taken since thousands
years ago. The most common eggs taken by us are
chicken egg, duck egg and quail egg (鹌鹑蛋). By
going through some processing processes, we can
have some egg products which are very different
from their original form and taste. The most
common egg products are salted duck egg (咸鸭蛋)
and preserved egg (century egg, 皮蛋). |
