Easy crustless quiche

Crustless Quiche

No hassle of making a crust, it is easy and versatile. Crustless quiche saves work and time. Eggs and milk are the basic ingredients, then use others that are available. Bacon, ham, sausages, vegetables or cheeses are popular for making quiche. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, gathering or even a picnic, crustless quiche can serve anytime and anywhere. In fact, no fixed recipe. Shift to any ingredients that accessible and creating a quiche on the spot. Crustless quiche can be reheated easily in the oven or microwave.
Ingredients:
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup grated cheese
  • ½ cup onion, chopped
  • 1 cup ham, diced
  • ½ bell pepper, diced
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ teaspoon pepper powder
Steps:
  • Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a baking pan or pie dish.
  • Melt butter in a pan with medium heat, add ham, cook until light brown, approximately 3 - 4 minutes.
  • Add onion and bell pepper, cook 4 – 5 minutes.
  • Remove from heat, spread evenly in the bottom of the greased baking pan.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together milk, salt, eggs, sugar and pepper powder.
  • Pour the milk and egg mixture into the baking pan.
  • Sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bake in oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown and center is firmly set.
  • Remove from oven, cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
