When barbequing or grilling, apply honey/tomato/sugar based sauce at the final process of cooking, this avoids burning.
Separate egg white and egg yolk by breaking the egg in a small funnel, the white will leak through and yolk stays in the funnel.
Save soggy chips or crackers by baking it in oven for 5-10 minutes at around 150 c. Oven need to be preheated.
To prolong vegetables and fruit freshness, wrap in newspaper before storing them in the fridge.
Always have parchment paper ready in your kitchen. Line a piece of parchment paper when baking or roasting. This will avoid messy cleaning works and food stick to roasting pan.
Absorb water and moist on the surface of meat with paper towel before browning. The moisture makes the meat steam instead of sear, it will lose the desired brown crust.
Don't wash your mushroom with water, they absorb water and spoil the texture and taste. Brush or wipe them clean.
Put some tissue paper in the bottom of the jar to keep the cookies fresh.
Add a pinch of salt when you first open a carton of milk, it keeps milk fresh for longer.
